FAQ

How do I contact you?

My email is mom@everybodysmother.com.

When can we talk?

We can talk anytime that’s mutually convenient for both of us. In general, I am not available late at night, Mom needs her rest just like everyone else! But I realize that a lot of people can’t talk during the day due to their work schedules, so drop me a note at mom@everybodysmother.com and we’ll set up a time!

How much does it cost to talk to you?

It’s only $5 for 15 minutes. Usually people start to feel better after a 15 minute phone call with me. I will let you know when the 15 minutes is up. Since you are paying me the $5 in advance, no further charges will apply. If you want to talk longer, you will need to PayPal another $5 or schedule a new phone call if I am booked. I don’t encourage people to stay on the line, however: if you have really serious problems, please consult a licensed therapist. That’s what I would tell my own kids!

What can I talk about with you?

You can talk about anything, as long as it’s not illegal or pornographic. Everybody’s Mother is not here to judge or criticize you: I’m here to listen and provide support. But please keep it legal and keep it clean. If you veer off into those topics, I will end the call immediately and you will not receive a refund.

Disclaimer: I cannot give you legal or medical advice, and you agree, by using my service, that you will not hold me liable for any action you choose to take based on a phone call with me. Also, if you are having any thoughts of suicide, please do not call me, as I am not qualified to treat depression or mental illness. If you mention suicide, I will advise you to call a suicide hotline and end the call immediately. If you are under the care of a mental health professional, please contact your doctor or therapist, as I cannot diagnose, treat or otherwise advise anyone who is currently undergoing treatment for mental health issues. You must be 18 years of age to use this service. I do not talk to minors, even with parental permission. No exceptions. I’m sorry if this seems harsh, but it’s based on past experience and the advice of my lawyer. I want to help people, but the things mentioned in this disclaimer are not in the range of services offered by me. Thanks for your understanding.

What types of payment do you accept?

I accept PayPal only at this time. Once your $5 payment has been received, give me your phone number and I’ll call you at the scheduled time.

I missed our phone call, can I have a refund?

No refunds. You agree to be at your phone at a certain time, and I schedule that 15 minute slot for you. I can reschedule your call, however.

What exactly do I get for $5?

You get 15 minutes of my time, and 15 minutes of a friendly mom-like person to talk to is priceless! What are you waiting for? Drop me an email at: mom@everybodysmother.com and we’ll talk!

What if I’m dissatisfied with your service? Can I get a refund?

No refunds. You are paying for my time, not anything else. If I can help you figure out a solution to your problems, great! But I don’t guarantee anything other than a friendly ear for 15 minutes. I know a lot of things, and I’m good at answering many questions, but I can’t guarantee a perfect solution every time and I don’t pretend to be God, just a Mom.

I’m still not sure about this. Do you have any testimonials?

I’m glad you asked! Please visit my testimonials page to see what my clients are saying and check out my Popular Questions and Answers page to see what types of questions people ask me. Being a Mom, I don’t want you to spend your money on anything unless you’re absolutely sure! I know, it’s only $5, but you don’t know me, after all. So please take a moment to look over my site and email me at mom@everybodysmother.com if you have any further questions about my service.

I don’t have a PayPal account. How do I pay you?

I’ll be happy to send you an invoice via email with instructions on how to pay safely and securely using PayPal. You can use many forms of payment with PayPal, including credit cards. It’s safe, secure, and it’s fast.

I don’t want to give out my phone number. Can I call you instead?

I prefer to call you, but if you are leery about giving me your phone number, sure, I will give you a phone number where you can reach me. Just indicate your preference in your email to me at mom@everybodysmother.com. Keep in mind that I cannot be held liable for any long distance charges you may incur by calling me. The main reason I prefer to call others is because many people lead busy lives, and they forget to make the call on time. That means the customer who is scheduled after you has to wait, so if you are going to call me, please be on time. Thanks!

Can you call me if I’m overseas?

The answer is probably! I have free long distance service to many countries other than the U.S., so as long as you speak English, and can PayPal me $5, I can most likely call you with no extra charges. Or, I can answer your question via email if you’d prefer. Email me at mom@everybodysmother.com for more information.

Okay, I’m convinced. How do I talk to you?

Send me an email at: mom@everybodysmother.com. Please include your desired date and time, as well as a phone number where you can be reached at that time. I will respond with a confirmation. Then, just PayPal $5 to mom@everybodysmother.com and I’ll give you a call! If you prefer to talk via email, we can do that too. The charge for an email reply is the same as a phone call.
